Paramus, NJ, April 11, 2011 – Urban Ink—the illest tattoo chronicles on newsstands—announced the release of their latest issue. On his second go ‘round in Urban Ink, the Capo recruited some of the hottest tattooed lady band members and rocked out on-stage at NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl for a head bangin’, ink-filled photo spread that’s sure to leave you Jonesing for more.

Inside the ink-dripping pages you will read as Jim discusses his latest album release, Capo, his everlasting presence on VH1’s “Love & Hip-Hop,” and his meaningful tattoo collection—which, if you caught the show, you would have seen him working on with legendary tattoo artist, Mario Barth.

The new issue also features Tami Roman from the VH1 reality television hit show “Basketball Wives.” On the show Tami got the reputation of being a loudmouthed, troublemaking badass. Well, Ms. Roman sat down with UI to set the record straight, discussing her TV antics, her revealing blog (TamiRoman.com) and her rebellious ink collection. The in-depth interview is accompanied by a photo spread featuring Tami surrounded by some killer ink courtesy of the oh-so muscular, Got Ink Boyz.

For more b-ball related fun, UI caught up with Atlanta Hawks combo-guard, Jamal Crawford to discuss the Hawks’ battle for the playoffs, his inspirational tattoo collection and his tattoo slinger of choice, Tattoos by Randy. Other slingers featured include, Chi-Town’s own Jose Perez, Maryland’s Lady Redz, Murda Ink 3, and many more. Also, find coverage from Mario Barth’s Biggest Tattoo Show On Earth out in Las Vegas, where Barth helped crown the long sought out UI Tattoo Contest winner.

Urban Ink magazine has been hitting you with the hottest inked celebs in the entertainment industry, the illest ink slingers and the hottest tattooed bods since its debut four years ago; and to this day they continue to leave a mark in the competitive tattoo magazine market.

Urban Ink is distributed across America as well as in Australia, Canada and the UK, and is available in most major chains including Walmart, Borders, Barnes & Nobles and 7-11.
