Local filmmaker seeks participants for tattoo documentary

Rodney Ray and R-Squared Productions have begun pre-production on a new documentary focusing on the world of tattoos.

Like the company's first feature film, "Flag of My Father," the documentary will be shot exclusively in Ouachita Parish and feature people from the surrounding area.

“We hope to provide a deeper look into the process of tattooing, the motivation behind the designs and the people who see their body as a canvas,” Ray said, “Regardless of your experience with tattoos, all preferences and backgrounds are important.”

The filmmakers are seeking individuals with compelling stories associated with their decision to get or remove a tattoo, and is particularly interested in business owners and professionals who can offer a corporate perspective on the culture.
