Justin Kontzen began learning to tattoo in 1993. He was taught by Jim Wolfe at the Tattoo Zoo in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Originally from Birmingham, AL, Justin moved back after only a few years in Florida. He was given the opportunity to work with Joey Henson at The InkWell Tattoos, where he stayed for six years. Later, with the help of his parents, Justin opened Aerochild Tattoos on September 11th, 2001.

Kele Idol has been tattooing since 1994 with proficiency in custom designs, black and grey, realism and abstract fantasy. His influences include comics, antiques, architecture, beauty, whimsy and horror.

Aaron Hamilton has been tattooing at Aerochild since 2005. He has been making are for most of his life. He was taught by Justin Kontzen. He draws influence from new school, japanese art, comics and classic horror. Aaron also loves burritos.
