VOTED BEST TATTOO SHOP IN THE FIRST STATE AGAIN FOR 2010

Way, way back in 1971, I found myself in San Francisco. It was the generation of "hippie" flower children. I got tattooed in Lyle Tuttle's old shop at Market & 7th Street, upstairs. Lyle tattooed Janis Joplin.

Sooner or later, I moved to Florida where I met Don Nolan, a tattoo man extraordinaire! He created an Oriental design of flowing water, flowers and coi. Life was good...

"Peggi Hurley, 1986 National's Best Tattooed Female" Such an honor!

I was taught the sacred art of tattooing by Don Nolan, Gill Montie, Bill Hannong and many other kind and dedicated tattooers. The old school comes to mind. Things do seem to come full circle. I grew up in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and in 1994, I moved myself and the business from Florida back home.

As Ancient Art endures the test of time, many wonderful memories have been made and plenty more are in the making. We are a family of tattooed folks.

We love tattoos! We love to DO tattoos!
Clean, well-lit, comfortable and happy would describe our shop vibe.

Looking for a certain style? Need a cover-up or an old tattoo rejuvenated? How about permanent eye brows or eye liner? Portraits are nice. Help is always available to put your ideas on paper and then on you!

Come get some "Delaware Ink"!
When you think of tattooing, you think of Peggi. It's that simple. She respects the history of tattooing and sets high standards for herself and her studio. As a member of the Body Art Task Force, she, with others, helped the health department write laws in Delaware for the tattooing, piercing, and permanent make-up studios. She does all kinds of rockin' tattoos and enjoys the diversity of her clients and their needs. Her expertise in permanent make-up comes from many years of experience. We need to feel that trust and experience when tattooing eye liner!
