Here at Sublime Line we are stoked to offer pneumatic tattooing and traditional machine tattooing. Neuma tattooing is a medical grade air driven system that utilizes compressed air to power the machine instead of electricity. Some of the advantages to neuma tattooing are it is air driven and allows the machine to run more consistently, the healing time on a tattoo is 5-7 days less...being it is less impact and trauma. Less trauma means more significant color blends and fades in a signal sitting, and allot of clients have said it is less painful then what they were used to, hence less trauma. Neuma machines allow the artist to more softly lay in the tattoo pigments, rather then pound them in. In turn this creates less leaking which means less color loss and a brighter more stand out piece of art. Sublime Line is the only Studio in the entire state of Alaska that offers this new way of getting ink. This system was developed in 2000 and is being utilized by some of the most recognized artists in the tattoo industry.
